Doit Apps is a one-person company incorporated in Estonia in 2019, operating under EU law. I'm Hai Nguyen. I build Journal it! full-time and use it every day since 2017.

My Story

I started journaling in 2014 because I kept forgetting things. What did I do last week? Last month? I couldn't remember.

Soon I realized journaling is more than a memory tool. It helps me think clearly and live intentionally.

In 2015, I taught myself programming. I looked at the journal apps available and found them boring. They just copied paper journals. Nothing innovative. Not really using what smartphones can do. So I decided to make my own.

Then I discovered the bullet journal method. Combining journaling, planning, and note-taking made sense. Why keep them separate?

That's how Journal it! became a life organizer: one place to journal, plan, and organize everything.

Philosophy

I'm passionate about organization. When your thoughts, plans, memories, and knowledge are organized, you can live more intentionally and achieve much more.

I'm also passionate about building tools for individuals. There are many tools for teams. Few are made for individuals, especially with privacy in mind.

The Future

I'm excited about what's ahead. With AI, I want to make the app not just a life organizer but an active life companion. Thank you for being here.
